Back in August, when the nights still felt long, we were fortunate enough to be invited to an event with By Rotation at their pop up in Belgravia. Over the course of a month, they hosted a series of evening events for their users and rotators; and GROWN were there to provide the drinks!

Not only was it a beautiful summer’s evening and an awesome looking pop up, partnering to be a drinks sponsor for By Rotation felt like a natural fit. Because like GROWN, sustainability is at the heart of everything By Rotation stands for.

For the uninitiated, their app enables rotators to lend out their wardrobe items for an agreed period of time, renters arrange delivery or collection, and then clean & return the items once they are done with them. No more ‘wear it once’, or throwaway fast fashion, because as By Rotation like to say, #WhatsMineIsYours.

With a more affordable and inclusive approach to enjoying “new” fashion, founder Eshita Kabra-Davies has created a self-sustaining and conscious community of fashion lovers; “We are setting out to convince everyone that we no longer need to buy fast fashion and can instead share quality clothing with each other. After all, what may no longer feel new to you can actually be new for somebody else."

At GROWN, we like to think our artwork by @craigandkarl should be an accessory for any fashion lover. And whilst we may not be able to connect a community through an app, we’re passionate about serving a community of drinkers who care about British produce, made naturally and sustainably, to help protect the environment, and taste better as a result.

We thoughtfully make our drinks in a similar way to wine, using Grape Must - a sustainable byproduct of the British wine making process. Our apple wine is produced on a small family run farm in Kent, who handpick all their grapes and ensure they deliver on their grape to glass philosophy. Meaning, they let the produce do the talking with very little intervention to change the character of the fruit or maximise yields with fertilisers and pesticides.

It was great to be part of an event held by such an innovative brand like By Rotation. It really feels like a movement is underway, with fashion and drink lovers caring about sustainability more than ever.

Everyone likes to look great, and everyone loves a great drink, but it shouldn’t come at the cost of the environment. By Rotation have shown our relationship with fashion can easily change , just as GROWN is pioneering a new category of sparkling apple wine, sustainably made with the greatest of care and attention.
